A joint partnership between DeFiHackLabs, Scam Sniffer and SlowMist is set to introduce a new anti-phishing platform for the crypto sector. This move comes as the crypto market is shaken by the alarming surge in phishing attacks.
For this launch, the three top crypto security firms will join hands to provide a platform that will put an end or rather reduce phishing attacks in the crypto ecosystem. The application also depicts the commitment by the partnering firms to provide a platform for the “public good.”
Anti-phishing Platform for the DeFi Sector
According to recent reports, the three web3 security firms; DeFiHackLabs, Scam Sniffer and SlowMist have started the development of their web3 anti-phishing platform. Notably, the founder of DeFiHackLabs web3 security firm shared the announcement on X earlier today (March. 28, 2025).
“We (DeFiHackLabs), @SlowMist_Team @realScamSniffer are developing a Web3 anti phishing education platform as a public good,” pseudonymous SunSec shared on X. Furthermore, SlowMist seconded the announcement with a post on their official X page. “Web3 security starts with education! We, @DeFiHackLabs & @realScamSniffer are teaming up to create an anti-phishing platform for the community,” SlowMist posted.
The three firms are interested to know which name to choose for the incoming web3 education platform and have set up a public poll for the name. The approach to seek public opinion depicts the commitment for the firms to serve the crypto community in a user-centric manner.
Phishing Attack Just Hours Before the New Platform Announcement
Prior to the announcement for the anti-phishing app platform, ScamSniffer reported an incident where a user lost thousands-worth of crypto to a phishing attack. The user who is identified with the wallet address 0xf9…f231 lost the funds in two instances. In the first instance, the victim lost $263K worth of tokens after signing multiple phishing signatures.
In the second instance, the victim lost another $280K in the same manner. The total crypto lost in the scenarios has amounted to $553K. Additionally, the scammer is identified with wallet address 0x0b…68f6.

In this instance, the victim lost 84.59% of the total funds and is only remaining with only $100K. Besides this scenario, there are several other instances where users have lost thousands to millions to phishing attacks. Hence the need to address this issue as soon as possible.
Importance of the Web3 Anti-phishing Platform
Phishing attacks pose a significant danger to cryptocurrency users. Most scammers have developed deceptive tactics which help them exploit users. Through their deceptive websites and links for instance, they can obtain users wallet credentials and private keys.
However, the anti-phishing platform under development by three web3 security firms is set to assist users in preventing phishing attacks. The platform will have an enhanced framework that will include a phishing attack warning system, distinctive monitoring solutions, and educational resources.
The joint effort of SlowMist, DeFiHackLabs and ScamSniffer represents their dedication to enlarge crypto security measures. Their upcoming web3 security platform could result in improved security for all DeFi users.
