Sabrina Carpenter is bringing her “Espresso” to the Metaverse.
Meta premiered a new trailer for the pop star’s upcoming VR concert, set to stream on Friday, July 19 at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT exclusively in Meta Horizon Worlds’ Music Valley.
In the teaser, the “Nonsense” singer, 25, can be seen prancing and dancing around the stage — designed as a vintage-style motel — holding a bedazzled microphone and singing her hit “Espresso.”
“If you’re watching Meta, I want you to scream at the top of your lungs,” the Tall Girl actress says in the trailer. “Scream for me.”
According to a press release, the experience is “an immersive desert oasis VR concert,” which was filmed in Los Angeles to capitalize on her Coachella performance.
Viewers can experience the event with a Meta Quest headset for a 180-degree feel of her energy, “transcending the physical boundaries of an in-person concert.”
During the 45-minute concert, produced by Gunpowder & Sky, in partnership with Meta, Carpenter will perform hits including “Espresso,” “Nonsense,” “Feather” and more.
